This GSU local comprises members of GSU working in the bargaining unit of employees of IATSE Local 295 in Regina, SK. GSU staff rep Donna Labelle is GSU Local 13’s bargaining spokesperson.
The current collective agreement expired on Dec. 31, 2024. All agreement rights and entitlements carry over until a new contract is signed and ratified.

Tuesday Members’ Memo – March 20, 2025
On March 13, Staff Representative Donna Labelle and her committee from Local 13 met with the employer, IATSE 295, to discuss contract negotiations. Both sides presented proposals, and productive dialogue was had throughout the meeting.
The parties have reached agreement on some proposals in principle and are now focused on refining the language to ensure clarity before finalizing them. In an effort to maintain meaningful discussions, both sides have agreed to meet again once specific details have been worked through in writing.
This collaborative approach aims to facilitate constructive negotiations and a fair agreement for all involved. Local 13 remains committed to achieving a contract that reflects the needs of its members. Updates will be provided as discussions progress.
