The President, two Vice Presidents and five Directors of the Defense Fund of GSU are elected by delegates at the union’s biennial policy convention.

As the highest governing body of GSU, the convention brings together elected representatives to review policies, debate resolutions, and make key leadership decisions. These elections follow the democratic process outlined in GSU’s constitution and bylaws, ensuring that members have a voice in selecting their leadership.

• Advance nominations for these positions are being accepted until noon on March 6, 2025.
• Nominations and self-nominations will also be accepted during the 2025 Biennial Policy Convention being held March 20-22, 2025.
