Local 9 (Trouw – Chilliwack) bargaining underway March 3-5

Tuesday Members’ Memo – March. 3, 2026

Bargaining sessions with the employer that were originally scheduled for Feb. 3 and 6 were postponed to March 3, 4 and 5 due to employer short-staffing and production demands.

While the current collective agreement expired on Dec. 31, 2025, all provisions remain in full effect until a new agreement is reached and ratified.

Local 9’s bargaining committee members are Robert Macken and Jordan Jefferson. They will be assisted by GSU staff representatives Mason Van Luven and Jordan Cousins.
